Isabel was the daughter of sir Richard de Vernon and Matilda de Camville. The date and place of her birth have not been found.

She died in 1356 in Harlaston, Tamworth, Staffordshire, England.

Her husband was sir Richard Stafford. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was sir Richard (1339-1380/81).
