Ernestine was born on 13 JUL 1618 in Schillingsfürst, the daughter of Georg II Friedrich von Hohenlohe-Waldenburg and Dorothea Sophie von Solms-Hohensolms.
She died on 25 JAN 1701 in Werdorf.
Her husband was Wilhelm II zu Solms-Braunfels, who she married on 24 FEB 1652 in Schillingsfürst. Their five known children were Sophie Amalie (1653-1664), Friedrich Magnus (1654-1676), Eleonore Sabine (1655-1742), Ludwig Heinrich (1657-1657) and Anna Johanna (1659-1727).
