Galeazzo was born about 1319, the son of Stefano Visconti and Valentina Doria. The place is not known.

He died on 04 AUG 1378 in Pavia, (prev. in Duchy of Milan), Pavia prov., Lombardia, Italia) .

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Bianca Maria di Savoia, who he married on 12 SEP 1350. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Gian II Galeazzo (1351-1402), Violante (1354-1386) and Cesare (?-?).

His second partner was Malgarola da Lucino, but they were never married. Their only known child was Beatrice (?->1410).
