He died on 30 DEC 1287 in Loosduinen, Zuid-Holland, Nederland.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Aleyd van Loon-Chiny. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Mabelia (1273-1313).
His second wife was Catharina van Limburg, who he married in ABT 1275. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Hendrik (c1275-1328), Gerard (c1281-1337) and Lijsbeth (c1290-?).
