Katharina was born about 1255 in Altenklingen, the daughter of Walther III von Klingen and Sophie von Frohburg.

She died about 1296. The place is not known.

Her husband was Theobald von Pfirt. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their two known children were Ulrich III (1281-1324) and Herzelande (?-1317).
