Kunigunde was born about 1298 in Kraków (Krakau, Krakow), Polska , the daughter of Władysław Piast and Jadwiga Bolesławówna Piast.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Bernard Świdnicki, who she married in ABT 1310. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Elzbieta (1314/15-c1348).

Her second husband was Rudolf I von Sachsen-Wittenberg, who she married on 28 AUG 1328. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Miesko (?-1350).
