Margaret was born about 1485 in Codnor Castle, Derbyshire, England, the daughter of John la Zouche and Elizabeth St. John.
Her husband was sir Robert Sheffield, who she married in ABT 1501. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Thomas (c1504-?), David (c1508-?), Margaret (c1510-?) and Eleanor (c1512-?).
