Oliver was born about 1408 in Bletsoe, Bedfordshire, England , the son of John St. John and Elizabeth Paulet.
He died in 1437 in Rouen, Haute-Normandie, Seine-Maritime, France.
His wife was Margaret Beauchamp, who he married in ABT 1442. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Oliver (?-<1497), Agnes (?-?), Edith (?-?), Elizabeth (c1432-c1468), Mary (?-?) and sir John (1426->1488).
