Philip was born about 1347 in Nunney castle, Nunney, Somersetshire, England, the son of John de la Mere and Margaret Norton.
He died about 1398. The place is not known.
His wife was Matilda Hussey. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Eleanor (c1373-1413), Mary (1384-?) and Elias (c1380-?).
