Duncan was born about 1390 in Lonchow, Argyllshire, Scotland, the son of Colin Campbell and Mariota Campbell.

He died about 12 AUG 1453. The place is not known.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Marjory Stewart. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Gillespie (c1400-<1439).

His second wife was Margaret Stewart, who he married on ABT 17 JAN 1423. The place has not been found. Their four known children were sir Colin McIphryar (1425-1489), Arthur (?-?), Neil (?-?) and Archibald (?->1470).
