Heinrich was born about 1311 in Veldenz, the son of Georg I von Geroldseck and Agnes von Leiningen-Dagsburg.
He died in 1378. The place is not known.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Agnes von Sponheim-Kreuznach. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Heinrich III (c1333-1389), Elisabeth (c1334->1399), Agnes (c1337-1376), Adelheid (c1338-1411), Friedrich II (1349/50-1395) and Georg (?-1411).
His second wife was Mechtild bei Rhein, who he married in AFT 1367. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
