Agnes was born about 1320 in Kreuznach, the daughter of Simon II von Sponheim-Kreuznach and Elisabeth van Valkenburg.
She died after 1367. The place is not known.
Her husband was Heinrich II von Veldenz. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Heinrich III (c1333-1389), Elisabeth (c1334->1399), Agnes (c1337-1376), Adelheid (c1338-1411), Friedrich II (1349/50-1395) and Georg (?-1411).
