Eleanor was born in 1457 in Ravenscraig, Fifeshire, Scotland, the daughter of William Sinclair and Marjory Sutherland.

She died on 21 MAR 1518. The place is not known.

Her husband was John Stewart, who she married on BEF 19 APR 1475 in Dunkeld Cathedral.
