Angela was born about 1370 in Kinderton cum Hulme, Northwich, Cheshire, England, the daughter of sir Hugh de Venables and Margery de Cotton.

She died in 1442 in Brereton cum Smethwick, Congleton, Cheshire, England.

Her husband was sir William VII de Brereton, who she married in 1386 in Audley, Staffordshire, England. Their eight known children were William VIII (c1390-c1415), Nicholas (c1390-?), Hugh (c1392-?), Henry (c1393-?), Matthew (c1394-?), John (c1396-?), Margaret (c1402-?) and Elizabeth (1406-1495).
