Wenceslas was born on 14 MAY 1316 in Křivoklát, the son of Johann I von Luxemburg and Eliška Přemyslovna.

He died on 29 NOV 1378 in Prague (Praha, Prag), Čechy .

He had four marriages/partners. His first wife was Blanche Marguerite de Valois, who he married on 15 MAY 1323. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Catherine (1342-1395) and Margarete (1335-1349).

His second wife was Anna von Rheinpfalz, who he married on 4 MAR 1349 in Buda (Ofen), Budapest , Közép-Magyarország, Magyarország . Their only known child was Wenceslas (1350-1351).

His third wife was Anne de Silésie-Schweidnitz, who he married on 27 MAY 1353. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Elisabeth (1358-1373) and Wenceslas (1361-1419).

His fourth wife was Elżbieta z Słupsk, who he married on 21 MAY 1363. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Johann (1370-1396), Charles (1372-1373), Marguerite (1373-1410) and Heinrich (1377-1378).
