Margaret was born about 1404 in Yester, East Lothian, Scotland, the daughter of sir William Hay and Alice de la Haye.
She died after 22 APR 1484 in Mar Lodge, Braemar, Aberdeenshire, England.
Her husband was William Douglas, who she married on 3 DEC 1414. The place has not been found. Their five known children were James (1426-1446), George (c1427-1462), Elene (?->1486), William (c1428-c1475) and Hugh (?-?).
